Campaign will now feature 115 bus shelter ads across DC as Trump’s occupation continues; Home of the Brave announces officers Harry Dunn and Michael Feinberg as new board members.

WASHINGTON – September 3, 2025 – Amid Donald Trump’s federal police crackdown in Washington DC, Home of the Brave today announced a major expansion of our six-figure DC ad campaign, which will now feature 115 ads at bus shelters throughout the city. You can view the ads here, and they will run for the next four weeks, as the administration attempts to keep occupying the city indefinitely.

This expansion comes after the announcement of our six-figure street campaign last week, which includes posters, decals, and a roving mobile billboard that is traveling around the city for the next week. These ads show real masked federal police who are operating in DC along with the message: “Why are you hiding your face? Public servants should face the public.” You can view photos of the creative here, and find locations of the posters on this map

Home of the Brave is also announcing a major expansion of its advisory board, which is made up of national leaders who are standing up against Trump’s authoritarian overreach. The new members are two enforcement professionals who have dedicated their lives to public safety and the rule of law, and stand against Trump’s lawless agenda:

  • Harry Dunn, former Capitol Police officer who defended the Capitol on January 6 and has become a leading voice in pushing back against lies and conspiracy theories propagated by Trump and his followers surrounding the attack

  • Michael Feinberg, former Assistant Special Agent in Charge at the FBI, who was pushed out of his position by Kash Patel for politically motivated reasons, demonstrating the extent to which federal law enforcement has become corrupted under Trump

“As police officers, we swore an oath to protect and serve the public and enforce the laws of the United States without fear or favor, and without regard to politics,” said Michael Fanone, spokesman and member of the advisory board of Home of the Brave. “Everything we’re seeing right now in DC, and from Trump’s cronies in federal law enforcement, goes against our training. Police shouldn’t be used as political pawns in Trump’s power games, and they shouldn’t be deployed in masks to brutalize members of the public. This isn’t law and order; it’s chaos.”
