Campaign features print ads in newspapers across the country—including the Times, Post, and USA Today—and includes a new call to action from Michael Fanone

WASHINGTONMarch 23, 2026 – Today, Home of the Brave launched a $1 million national ad campaign in support of the peaceful No Kings rallies scheduled for March 28. The ads will appear in 300 newspapers, including national placements in The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal, plus a DC-distributed ad in The Washington Post. The remaining 296 local papers are distributed across 31 states.

Neither will we.” This is followed by language inspired by the Bill of Rights, with the statement: “The founders wrote the Bill of Rights because they had lived under a king. We march because we refuse to live under another. No Kings. March 28.”

In addition to the ad, Home of the Brave released a new video featuring Michael Fanone—police officer who defended the Capitol on January 6, and spokesman for Home of the Brave—calling on all Americans to peacefully mobilize in support of democracy on March 28. In the video, Fanone says: “Public office is about serving the people, not dominating them … So we, the people, will march peacefully again.”

Home of the Brave supports No Kings’ work mobilizing Americans to peacefully stand up to Donald Trump’s authoritarianism. This follows our October 2025 campaign, which included a separate $1 million effort that ran ads in 185 different newspapers across the country, and featured a video calling on Americans to “show them you’re not afraid.” Altogether, Home of the Brave has spent $2 million to date in support of the No Kings marches.

Home of the Brave exists to show Americans the real-world consequences of this administration’s policies, and to highlight what bravery looks like in defense of American democracy. The organization lifts up the voices of people whose lives have been directly harmed by the Trump administration, and who won’t be bullied into silence. Home of the Brave also publishes a newsletter of the same name on Substack to tell these Americans’ stories everyday.
