Alan is a veteran who deployed to Korea and bled for his country. He relies on the Veterans Administration for all of his medical care, and he’s seen the rapid decline in service since Trump took office and imposed his draconian DOGE cuts. And yet, Alan still has people in red MAGA hats slapping him on the back and thanking him for his service—but when he tells them about how this administration is repaying that service, he’s called a “communist.” Alan fought communism, and knows what dictatorship looks like, and he doesn’t want it coming to this country.
