Prices are not coming down
Darlene from Eastern Pennsylvania is struggling with the rising cost of living. On a recent grocery trip, she spent $169 without purchasing any meat, and she notes that prices at the store remain high despite Trump’s claims they are coming down. Gas is also a burden, forcing her to cross into New Jersey for savings of about 40 cents per gallon. Her household bills have surged as well—electric costs have more than tripled, and she expects the natural gas bill to rise in the winter. Even basic baking has become too costly due to high ingredient prices.
