Faith relies on Social Security and sees Donald Trump’s deep cuts to the agency as a direct attack against people like her. But even more than that, she’s alarmed at this administration’s efforts to systematically roll back rights that previous generations fought for and won at great cost.
Today, she looks around and sees Trump and his cronies slashing health care, social services, and affordable housing to the bone. But, she warns, if this kind of authoritarianism continues to go unchecked, we’re going to have much deeper problems than cuts to social services.
