Jim, a retired Marine living in Albuquerque who is 100% disabled, fully relies on the VA for healthcare, but he now faces long appointment wait times. His wife, who is also 100% disabled and is a cancer survivor, relies on Medicare; due to inadequate healthcare access in New Mexico, she moved to California to pursue treatment.
