Shan, owner of Little Wish Toys in Richmond, Virginia, opened her brick-and-mortar shop in March after several years of selling online and at pop-up markets. She says tariffs have created major uncertainty for her business, as many toy components and packaging are produced overseas. Rapid price changes have made it difficult to plan or keep products affordable. Additionally, she says that supply issues and consumer anxiety have led to early “panic buying” ahead of the holidays.
